The Tylö Steam Home is a compact, wall-mounted steam generator designed for domestic steam rooms. Its output can be configured at 3, 6 or 9 kW, allowing the generator to be matched to the size and construction of the room.

Automatic flushing is included as standard, while Tylö's divided-output function reduces the power once the selected temperature has been reached. This helps maintain a consistent steam-room temperature without continuing to run at full output.

The Steam Home requires a separate Tylö Pure or Elite Cloud control panel. The Bahia Home steam outlet and compatible aromatherapy equipment are also available separately.

Three configurable outputs

The Steam Home can be configured at 3, 6 or 9 kW. The correct setting depends on the volume of the steam room, its wall materials and whether it has mechanical ventilation.

Glass, plastic and other lightweight wall constructions require less output than tiled, concrete or stone rooms of the same size. The final specification should therefore be based on the complete installation rather than room volume alone.

Automatic flushing

The generator includes an automatic flush system, which drains and rinses the water tank after use. The flushing cycle can be adjusted to suit the local water quality.

Tylö recommends fitting a water softener with its steam generators. This is particularly important in hard-water areas, where scale can affect performance and shorten the life of internal components.

Efficient temperature control

Once the steam room reaches the selected temperature, Tylö's divided-output function reduces the generator's output to the level required to maintain it. Tylö states that this, together with standby mode, can reduce energy consumption by up to 30% compared with continued operation at full output.
