steam rooms & showers
Steam, your way.
A home steam room can be as simple as a compact shower system or as ambitious as a fully bespoke wellness space.
At Hot Tubs Oxfordshire, we offer complete Tylö steam cabins, combined sauna and steam rooms, steam shower systems, and the generators and controls needed to create something entirely bespoke.
Whether you already know what you want or are still working out what will fit your space, we can help you find the right route.
A Different Kind of Heat.
Panacea steam rooms
Tylö Panacea cabins provide the enclosure, seating and architectural finish of a steam room within a prefabricated structure. The steam generator and control system are required and sold separately, allowing them to be specified to suit the installation.
Across the range, toughened glass, Corian seating, integrated lighting and carefully incorporated steam outlets create a clean, contemporary finish. Different sizes and seating layouts make it possible to choose anything from a compact two-person cabin to a much larger shared steam room.
Because the enclosure itself is supplied as part of the product, Panacea can be a particularly attractive option where you want a clearly defined steam space without designing every surface from scratch.
Panacea Twin
Panacea Twin brings two very different heat experiences together within one coordinated structure.
One side provides a traditional sauna environment, while the other delivers a dedicated steam room. The result is a compact wellness suite that allows you to move between dry heat and humid steam without needing two completely separate installations.
The shared design language, glazing and materials make the two spaces feel like one considered installation rather than two products placed beside each other.
Steam Showers
A steam shower can be the right answer when you want the experience of steam without dedicating an entire room to it.
Tylö’s Vista range combines showering and steam within a complete enclosure, while the Stella system takes a different approach, integrating the steam generator, shower functions and controls into a compact wall-mounted column for use within a suitable wet-room or shower space.
That gives you a choice between a finished cabin and a more integrated solution, depending on the room you are working with.
Bespoke installations
When Standard Sizes Don’t Fit
Not every steam room starts with a prefabricated cabin.
For residential projects, hotels, spas, gyms, leisure facilities and other commercial settings, we can help specify a steam system around the space itself, rather than asking the space to conform to a standard product.
That can include selecting the right steam generator and controls, planning the steam outlet position, and working through the wider requirements of the room, including drainage, water supply, electrical provision, ventilation and suitable finishes.
Commercial projects may also place very different demands on the equipment, particularly where the steam room is larger, used more frequently or expected to operate for longer periods. In those cases, the generator and control system need to be specified accordingly.
We have already completed bespoke steam-room installations, so this is not simply equipment we can supply. We can help plan the steam system as part of the wider project and work with the requirements of the space from the outset.
Steam components
The Hardware Behind the Steam
For a bespoke steam room, the generator and control system are every bit as important as the room itself.
Tylö offers generators for both domestic and more demanding installations, along with control panels ranging from straightforward day-to-day operation to touchscreen and connected control.
These components are also required with several of the Panacea cabins, where the generator and control panel are selected separately to suit the installation rather than being included with the enclosure.
We can help specify the correct combination rather than leaving you to work backwards from technical data alone.
Getting the Practicalities Right
Whatever route you choose, steam rooms need to be planned properly.
The enclosure or room needs to cope with high humidity, and consideration has to be given to drainage, water supply, ventilation, electrical requirements and access to the steam equipment itself.
The details vary considerably between a complete Panacea cabin, a steam shower and a bespoke room, which is why it is worth involving us before the rest of the project is too far advanced.
We can help you understand what each option requires and make sure the steam system is specified as part of the room rather than added as an afterthought.
Why choose Hot Tubs Oxfordshire?
More Than a Box and a Brochure
Steam rooms sit somewhere between a product and a building project, so getting the specification right matters.
At Hot Tubs Oxfordshire, we take the time to understand the space, the way it will be used and the type of experience you want to create. From there, we can help you compare the different routes, choose the right equipment and understand what needs to happen before installation begins.
That can mean anything from selecting the right Panacea or steam shower to helping plan a bespoke residential or commercial steam room from the ground up.
And because we work across saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, swim spas and other wellbeing products, we can also help if your steam room forms part of a wider wellness project.
