Steam shower
Vista 160
The Tylö Vista 160 takes the integrated steam-shower concept of the Vista 130 and gives it an extra 30 cm of width, creating a more generous shower and steam space without moving into the proportions of a full steam room.
At 160 cm wide and 90 cm deep, it is designed for corner installation against two fixed walls. Left- and right-handed versions allow the door and Stella steam column to be positioned to suit the bathroom, while the extensive glazing keeps the enclosure visually light.
The integrated Stella system brings the steam generator, shower controls, Elite control panel and lighting together within the enclosure, giving the Vista 160 the functionality of a dedicated steam room in a format designed around the bathroom.
More Room, Same Integrated Approach
The Vista 160 follows the same built-in approach as the smaller Vista 130, fitting into a corner against two fixed walls rather than arriving as a freestanding shower cabin. The remaining sides are formed by large glass panels held within slim wall, floor and ceiling profiles.
At 1600 x 900 mm, the enclosure adds 300 mm of width over the Vista 130. That extra space gives the shower and steam area a more generous feel while retaining the same 2130 mm overall height and the same clean, architectural treatment.
Left- and right-handed versions allow the door and steam column position to be chosen around the room layout. An optional Vista 160 shower tray is also available in white or anthracite where a purpose-designed base with integrated drainage is preferred to using the finished bathroom floor.

Steam, Shower and Control in One System
At the heart of the Vista 160 is Tylö’s Stella steam column, which brings the steam generator, shower functions and control system together in one integrated unit rather than treating them as separate pieces of equipment.
The built-in generator is designed for continuous steam production and includes automatic draining and flushing to help reduce mineral build-up inside the water reservoir. It also incorporates electronic water-level control, temperature protection and a built-in dirt filter.
The system is operated through Tylö’s Elite control panel, which is factory-connected to the Stella relay board. Elite provides control of the steam experience and supports the system’s connected functions through the built-in Wi-Fi module. Integrated LED lighting can also be controlled from the panel.

FAQs
- What is the Tylö Vista 160?
The Vista 160 is a home steam-shower enclosure that combines a 160 x 90 cm glazed corner enclosure with Tylö’s integrated Stella steam and shower system.
- How large is the Vista 160?
The enclosure measures 160 x 90 x 213 cm. Tylö specifies a minimum installation height of 223 cm.
- How does the Vista 160 differ from the Vista 130?
The two models use the same basic Vista and Stella system, but the Vista 160 is 30 cm wider, giving the shower and steam area more internal space.
- Is the Vista 160 available in different layouts?
Yes. It is available in left- and right-handed versions so the door and steam column can be positioned to suit the room.
- Does the Vista 160 need to be installed against existing walls?
Yes. The standard Vista requires two fixed walls prepared to wet-room standards. The walls must be straight and capable of supporting the Stella steam column.
- Is the steam generator included?
Yes. The Vista is designed around the integrated Stella steam-shower system, so the steam generator forms part of the complete system.
- Is the Elite control panel included?
Yes. The Stella system uses Tylö’s Elite control panel for steam, lighting, scheduling and connected functions.
- Can the Vista be controlled remotely?
Yes. The Stella system has built-in Wi-Fi and supports connected control through Tylö’s Elite system.
- Does the Vista 160 include lighting?
Yes. Stella incorporates LED lighting that can be controlled through the Elite panel.
- Does it need a drain?
Yes. There must be a drain inside the steam enclosure, with the floor prepared with the correct fall while remaining level beneath the Vista floor frame.
- Is an optional shower tray available?
Yes. A dedicated Vista 160 tray is available in white or anthracite, with a built-in drain.
- Does the Vista need ventilation?
For normal domestic sessions of less than two hours, Tylö says dedicated ventilation is generally not required. Longer continuous use requires an air-change rate of 10-20 m³ per person per hour.
- What maintenance does the steam generator need?
The Stella system automatically empties and flushes its water reservoir, but it still requires regular descaling. The appropriate interval depends on local water hardness and use.
- Can the Vista 160 be used commercially?
No. Tylö specifies the Vista steam enclosure for private use rather than public or commercial installations.
- Can Hot Tubs Oxfordshire help plan the installation?
Yes. We can help with model selection, handed configuration and the practical requirements around water, drainage, electrical supply and room preparation.
