The Tylö Panacea 2117 Black 1B stretches the Panacea format to 213 cm wide while retaining a manageable 173 cm depth.

Its single 1945 mm Corian® bench creates a long, uninterrupted seating area with generous open floor space in front, making this version particularly appealing where a spacious feel matters more than maximum seating capacity.

The black profiles, extensive glazing and refined Corian® detailing give the 2117 the same architectural presence as the larger Panacea rooms without requiring the footprint of the two-bench 2521 or 2525.

Long-Bench Comfort in a Rectangular Layout

The Panacea 2117 Black 1B uses a 213 x 173 cm rectangular footprint with one 1945 mm Corian® bench. The long single bench leaves the opposite side of the room open, creating a spacious and uncluttered interior.

Toughened glass wall sections and black profiles keep the enclosure visually light despite its increased width. Corian® seating and the integrated steam outlet provide smooth, durable surfaces that are straightforward to maintain.

The room is supplied in prefabricated sections with an insulated ceiling. Correct floor preparation and drainage are part of the installation, and the Panacea is intended for indoor use only.

Steam Generator & Controls

This Panacea enclosure requires a separate Tylö steam generator and control panel. Both are selected to suit the room and the installation and are not included in the room price.

Steam generators
Steam Home is available in 3, 6 and 9 kW outputs for domestic installations. Steam Commercial is available in 9, 12 and 15 kW outputs for longer operating periods and more demanding installations.

Control panels
Pure provides straightforward control of temperature, lighting and operating time. Elite Cloud adds a touchscreen interface, scheduling and remote control through the Tylö WellAccess app.

The generator is installed outside the steam room and requires water, electricity and drainage. We will specify the appropriate generator and control panel as part of the quotation.

Separate warranty terms apply to the Tylö steam generator and control panel.

What is included with the Panacea 2117 Black 1B?

The room includes the Panacea enclosure and one 1945 mm Corian® bench. The steam generator and control panel are specified separately.
How is the 2117 1B arranged?

The 1B version uses a single 1945 mm Corian® bench within the 213 x 173 cm room, leaving generous clear space opposite.
How does the 2117 1B differ from the 2117 2B?

Both use the same 213 x 173 cm external footprint. The 1B has one long bench, while the 2B uses two benches and is priced as a separate product.
What size steam generator does it need?

Tylö lists 6 kW for the 2117 Black 1B, both with and without ventilation.
Are the steam generator and control panel included in the displayed price?

No. The displayed price is for the Panacea room. A suitable Tylö steam generator and either a Pure or Elite Cloud control panel are specified separately for the installation.
Does the steam room require a drain?

Yes. The finished floor must be prepared with a suitable fall to a drain, while the floor directly beneath the room's floor frame must be level, even and clean.
Does the Panacea require ventilation?

For continuous operation lasting more than two hours, Tylö specifies an air-change rate of 10-20 m³ per person per hour. The ventilation outlet is positioned in the ceiling away from the seating.
Is underfloor heating required?

No. Tylö recommends underfloor heating to reduce temperature differences within the steam room, but does not state it as a requirement.
Can the Panacea be installed outdoors?

No. Tylö states that the Panacea should not be installed outdoors or where there is a risk of cold or frost damage.
What clearance is required around the steam nozzle?

Tylö specifies at least 20 cm of clear space in front of the steam nozzle, with no fittings or other objects directly in front of or above it.
